John Jack William Hardy, 82, of High Ridge, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at St. Clare Hospital with his wife, Marion MeMe by his side.

John was born March, 1, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Lydia (Felske) Hardy. He graduated from South Lincoln High School in 1956, and later completed electronics trade school. John was honored to serve four years in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Monsanto for many years as an electrical draftsman, and retired from Sachs Electric. John had a life-long hobby of model railroading. He served faithfully at his church, St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Later in life, John enjoyed traveling and researching genealogy. He was known for his goofy sense of humor, his amazing story telling, and a smile that lit up the room.

John is survived by his wife, Marion MeMe Faye Hardy (Sneed); by his two daughters, Kimberly Kay Hasty and her husband, Todd, and Jennifer Renee Hardy; his step-daughter, MeMe Mechelle Sneed; four grandchildren, Sarah, Ryan, Jared and Avery; his sister, Virginia Ginny Reid and her husband, Richard and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lydia and William, his first wife of 43 years, Juanita Frances Hardy, his daughter, Deborah Kay, his granddaughter, Amanda Wright, and nephew, Jason Kemp.

A memorial celebration of John's life will be held at a later date at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 500 Meramec Blvd, Eureka, MO 63025. Due to Covid restrictions on group size, a virtual viewing of the service will be available at stmarkseureka.org. Internment will be private.
