TEMPLETON, Larry James age 76 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Bethesda North Hospital. Larry was born May 18, 1944 in McComb, Illinois, the son of James and Molly (nee: Clifton) Templeton. He was a 1962 graduate of Lebanon High School and then attended Morehead University. In 1963, Larry married his high school sweetheart Carolyn. He was a retired Recovery Service Specialist at Lebanon Correctional Institute, and had also served as a Sergeant for the Lebanon Police Division. Larry also served as the Mayor of Lebanon in the 1970s just as his father had before him. Larry attended Urbancrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, Ohio. He enjoyed spending his free time watching Nascar and Formula 1 racing, working on computers and all things electronic, and photography. Most of all though, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Douglas Templeton. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years Carolyn (nee: Turner) Templeton; daughters Lori Fishell and Amy (Rodney) McIntosh; grandchildren Seth (Lauren) Hunter, Jillian (Angelo) Domino, and Blake Hunter; great-granddaughter Hazel Isabella Hunter; as well as many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 03, 2020 from 11am until time of services at 12 Noon, all at the Stine Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Sibcy officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
