Obituary for Mrs. Donna Darlene Pearson
Donna Darlene Pearson of Sudlersville, MD passed away on Friday October 23, 2020 at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover, DE. She was 59.
Donna was born Feb. 25, 1961 in Chestertown, MD the daughter of the late Robert Comegys Sr. and Eva “Bottomly” Comegys. She attended Queen Anne’s County High School through the 10th grade. Donna married the late George Pearson early in her life and the two worked side by side their entire marriage. Donna was a loving mother and wife and the type of person that could keep things going in the family always making people feel right at home whenever she was around. She enjoyed collecting coins, beads and crochechting. She loved her animals, and often referred to them as her bottle babies while caring for them.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Pearson and one brother, Robert Comegys Jr..
She is survived by her daughter Julie Pearson of Sudlersville, MD, three sisters, Cheryl Wise of Chestertown, MD, Phyllis Pearson of Millington, MD, Dorothy Comegys of Chestertown, MD, two brothers, Leroy Comegys of Sudlersville, MD, and Zachary Comegys of Floriday and many other individuals that considered her as a mother, grandmother and aunt.
A graveside service will be held Thursday Oct. 29, 2020 at 2pm at Sudlersville Cemetery in Sudlersville, MD.
