Theresa Ann Reynolds, age 86, beloved mother, grand-
mother and great-grandmother died peacefully on
October 22, 2020 at Christus St. Michaels Hospital in
Texarkana. Theresa was born to Harold and Valesta
Guernsey on October 15, 1934 in Boscobel, WI. She
married her High School sweetheart (1951 Boscobel HS
Homecoming King and Queen) Ernest H. Reynolds on
January 30, 1952. After sixty - four years of marriage
she was preceded in death by Ernest on April 28, 2016,
her son Ernest Jr. and daughter-in-law, Ava.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, Harold
and Valesta; sisters, Virginia Guernsey, Ruth (Erwin) Loy,
Mary (Vern) Sharples, and Frances (purl) Barrett, and her
brothers, John (Ruth), George and Jim"Chip" Guernsey.
Survivors include her children, James (Becky) Reynolds of
Boscobel, WI; Cathy (Ray) Folyer of Linden, TX; Terry (Kathy)
Reynolds of Steven Point, WI and special family member
Connie Kinyon of La Crosse, WI.
Theresa was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren;
Sarah Jo (Adam) Malacara of Franklin, WI; Mindy (Scott)
Keland of Racine, WI; Trianna (Bill) Schubert of LaValle, WI;
Jennifer (Clint) Roberts of Longview, TX; Clint (Shelly) Folyer
of University Place, WA; Layne (John Pitzer) Reynolds of
Beaumont, Tx; Lili (Clint) Fandrich of Arequipa, Peru; Abby
(Nate) McCallister of Minneapolis, MN; Tera (Katlego)
Reynolds-Mantu of Minneapolis, MN; and Kip Reynolds of
Seattle, WA: great-grandchildren, Trent and Brady Roberts,
Lila and Logan McCallister, Leo Reynolds-Mantu, Cole and
Trinity Coppernall, Elijah Malacara, Tyler and Kayla Keland,
Zachary and Grace Schubert, and Christopher Pitzer and
many nieces and nephews.
Theresa attended grade school at Immaculate Conception
in Boscobel, WI and high school at Boscobel High School.
She was a full-time mother, worked as a telephone operator
for Century Telephone and a bookkeeper for Boscobel
Thermogas in Boscobel before she and Ernie retired in
Linden, TX. She was a great cook and enjoyed crocheting
beautiful doilies. Some of her favorite things were playing
cards, board games and watching her Wisconsin Badger,
Green Bay Packers, and adopted southern team the New
Orleans Saints. Theresa and Ernie really enjoyed their trips
back to Boscobel to visit family and friends until travel was
not possible. Theresa was a very loving mother and
supportive wife. She will be deeply missed by her family,
friends and all that knew her.
A mass of Christian burial will take place at an undetermined
date at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Daingerfield,
TX with Fr. Francis O'Dowd officiating. Burial will follow in
the Our Lady of the Pines Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of
Fatima Catholic Church in Daingerfield, TX.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and Let perpetual
Light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all
the faithful departed, throught the mercy of God,
rest in peace. Amen
