Atwood passed away at his residence. He was born in Florida to Thomas Taylor and Jane (Admas) Taylor. Atwood was a U.S. Army, WWII Veteran and previously worked at Levingston Shipbuilding as a pipefitter. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jane Taylor, his wife of fifty years,Edna, four sisters and two brothers, survivors include his sons Thomas Reid Taylor, Sr., and, Danny Lee Taylor and his wife Freda, daughter, Linda Dian Duke and husband John; eight grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren.
