Renee was born on March 18th, 1966 at Washington Hospital in Fremont, CA. She graduated from Irvington High School and shortly after began working as a Secretary at Intel. After giving birth to her only child, Candace Silva-Martin, on January 10th, 1991, she then decided to enter the Mask Designer program at Intel to make a better future for her daughter. She served 34 years as a loyal employee to Intel until the day she passed and was a highly respected Senior Mask Designer.

Renee was an incredibly hard-working single mother and worked long hours to be able to send her daughter to one of the top private schools in the country. She also took the time to support Candace through all of her club, high school, and college volleyball matches. Everything she did in this life was to make a better future for her daughter. She was the definition of a super mom.

Her generosity and love for classy, fun gatherings was unmatched. She threw the grandest dinner parties and always had the best wines and champagnes to share with everyone. It was not uncommon for Renee to plan and support large family beach house trips to Dillon Beach and San Diego. Those closest to her knew that she loved going to Giants games and traveling to Europe, but her most special trips were going to Disneyland with her daughter. Renee loved her family and friends with all her heart and she lived life to the fullest. She was an incredible woman who will be missed by all.

On October 10th, 2018, Renee Martin, longtime daughter, sister, and mother, passed away at the age of 52 after battling aggressive metastatic breast cancer.

She is survived by her daughter, Candace Silva-Martin, and parents, Dennis Martin and Arlene Martin. She is preceded in death by her brother, Tony Martin, and her best friend, Annie Bogdanowicz.
