LUCY BANKS WILLIAMS, age 71, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.
She was born February 8, 1949, at Memphis, TN, to the late Bowdre and Virginia Banks. Lucy lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life and had been employed as a registered nurse with Southeast Health and St. Francis Medical Centers both in Cape Girardeau. Most recently she worked at the Charleston Manor. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Charleston.
On August 30, 1975, she married Ronnie D. Williams, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are is her son, Paul H. (Angela) Williams of Savannah, MO; her grandchildren, Jordan Williams of Louisville, KY and Debra Williams of Owensboro, KY; her brother, Bowdre Banks of Sevierville, TN and her sister, Virginia Banks Jean of Elkton, FL.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2020, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. Rev. George Nite, pastor of First Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
