RETIRED LUMBER DEALER DIES
L.L. Felix, 69,a resident of Carlsbad for 25 years, died in a local hospital after a 12-day illness.
Funeral services were held in the West Chapel, with Dr. W.S. Dando officiating. Masonic services were conducted at the graveside in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Mr. Felix had owned the Groves Lumber Company for 20 years until he retired three years ago. He was a former member of the city school board.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Felix; two daughters, Evelyn and Alma Sue Felix, and a brother, John C. Felix of Delaware Beach, Fla.
