Frank J. Herrick, 84, died in his home, 49 Edendale St., this morning. He was born in Sidney Center, N. Y., and lived here 20 years. He was a pattern-maker at the Springfield Westinghouse plant until his retirement in 1930. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Baldwin Herrick; a son, Louis of Chicago; two daughters Miss Ruth Herrick of Boston and Mrs. E. H. Churchill of Springfield; two brothers, Walter of Rochester, N. Y., and Charles Herrick of Unadilla, N. Y.; and two grandchildren. Ruth and Erna Churchill of this city. He was a member of the East Springfield Congregational Church. The funeral will be held in Byron's funeral home at a time to be announced with burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.

Frank was a patternmaker for sixty years, he held numerous U. S. patents . He worked in New Britain, CT; Lynn, MA and Springfield, MA.

He and his wife lived in Springfield with their widowed daughter Ethel and her two young daughters. Frank and Ethel worked for Westinghouse's large plant at the end of their street.
