OBITUARY

Newport- Paul Matthew McBride, 49, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Carteret Healthcare. He was born February 16, 1971, in Manassas, VA a son to Patrick Michael McBride, Sr. and Evelyn Perry “Juney” McBride.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 12:00 at Glad Tidings Church with Rev. Tim Mariner and Rev. Paul Lofton officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30-12:00 at the church the day of the service.

Paul owned and operated Paul McBride Heating and Air Conditioning. He loved music and the Dallas Cowboys which was always fun because his mom was a big Washington Redskins fan. He was kind, compassionate, and dedicated not only to his family and friends but also to his customers who soon became friends. He made an impact on everyone he touched in his all too short life, he will be missed.

He is survived by the love of his life, Christina Avant of the home; father, Patrick Michael “Mike” McBride of Swansboro; brother, Patrick Michael McBride (Amanda) of Corpus Christie, TX; stepchildren, Kevin, Breanna, Lexsie, Belinda, and Tia; nieces, Katie and Emma.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn “Juney” McBride.
