Donna Mae Lux, 78, of Center Junction, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at her home following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held 10:30 Tuesday morning, April 25, 2006 at St. Peters Catholic Church, Temple Hill with interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monticello. Surviving is her husband, Ralph, 5 children, Jim (Pam) Lux, Michael Lux all of Center Junction, Jean (Ron) Oberbreckling, Wyoming, Danny (Mary) Lux, Bedford, Indiana, Terry (Chris ) Lux, Monticello, 15 Grandchildren, 9 great-Grandchildren, a sister, Sharon (Leon) Beitz, Hopkinton, 2 brothers, Robert (Beverly) Davis and Sheldon (Betty) Davis, both of Delhi, 3 sister-in-laws, Jeanette and Sharon Davis, Hopkinton, Catherine (Clifford) Melchert, Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her step-father, Lee Davis, 3 brothers, Dale Brown and Wayne and David Davis and infant brother, Donald and a grandson Bradley. Donna Mae Brown was born March 24, 1928 at Bowman, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Dale and Emma Wolfe, Brown. Donna attended the Hopkinton, Iowa Schools. Donna Mae Brown and Ralph Lux were married April 3, 1945 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Hopkinton. The couple farmed near Hopkinton and in the Anamosa area before they purchased their farm near Center Junction in 1959. Donna also worked at the Button Factory in Monticello, Tedrow's Sweet Shop and Collins Radio. She retired from Collins Radio in 1973.
