She was born on February 1, 1949 in Cabarrus county to the late Leonard Chapman and Mattie Stevenson Chapman.
Juanita, also lovely know as “Neat”, was educated in Kannapolis City Schools, 1968 graduate of A. L. Brown High School.
She was formerly employed with Fieldcrest Cannon Mills, retried from Kannapolis City School. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Kannapolis, where she served on the Usher Ministry and the Women Ministry.
Services will be held on Friday, October 30. Viewing will be 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by two brothers, Sammie Chapman and Ernest Chatman.
Those who shall left to cherish her memory include her only daughter Darlene Cannon of Kannapolis NC; two grandchildren Jatana Spencer and Jaylen Cannon.
three sisters Louise Chatman of Kannapolis: Barbara Bright of Bronx, New York, and Helen Livingston of Kannapolis; brother Leonard Chapman, Jr. (Lou Jean) of Kannapolis; and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
