Jane Xelowski Welch 10/25/1928 – 9/6/2010
Our beautiful Mother peacefully left this world to be in a better place. We spoke and laughed until she gently drifted away. Mom worked her entire life raising her kids and when that was done, she opened a daycare in her home. She finally retired and spent her days enjoying her grandchildren. Mom's famous saying was, "If I would have known that Grandkids were this much fun, I would have had them first!"
Born in Chicago, Illinois, she is survived by her brothers, Bill and Gene; sister, Mary; daughters, Judy, Jean, Joanne, Jan, Julie, Jacquie; sons, Thomas, Tracy, Terry; 14 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Tucson Botanical Gardens on Sunday, September 12, 2010. Feel free to stop by anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Services will take place on Monday, September 13, 2010 at St. Pius X Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo at 10:45 a.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: Casa De La Luz Hospice Foundation. Donations can be mailed to: 400 W. Magee Road, Tucson, AZ 85704. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.

Beloved Grandmother, Mother, Daughter, Sister,
Wife and Friend

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
