RODNEY HOWARD, age 62, of Houston, OH passed away at 7:55 AM on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in his residence. Rodney was born Piqua, OH on November 28, 1957 to Roy Howard of Piqua, OH and the late Nevil Cantrell. He married Charlene Howard on August 20, 1994 and she preceded him death on April 6, 2019.
Rodney is survived by one son: Jeremy (Katie) Howard, Troy, OH; one daughter: Heather (Michael) Blair, Sidney, OH; one sister: Crystal Howard, Piqua; one brother: Fred Howard, Piqua; seven grandchildren: Hayden N. Howard, Meghan Young, Gracie Harris, Nasiya Harris, Joycelyn Harris, Alyza Blair, and Chaynce Blair; and one great grandchild: Adriyen Frew.
Rodney graduated from Piqua Central High School and worked for Hubbard Roofing in Piqua, OH for 30 years. He was a member of Piqua United Pentecostal Church. Rodney loved walking his dog, going fishing, and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, will Rev. Gary Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. The family will receive friends 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
