Clyde Theodore King, 93, of Tiffin, passed away at 6:10 p.m., on October 22, 2020 at the St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

Clyde was born in Washington, PA, on May 9, 1927 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Lee) King. He married Mary Elizabeth "Liz" (Wheatley) on March 22, 1951 and she preceded him in death on May 6, 2016.

Clyde is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Ray) Baker of Tiffin, twin sons, David (JoAnn) King of Tiffin and Daniel King of Carey, five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

After getting out of the Navy in 1946, he went to work at the Duncan-Miller Glass Company in Washington, PA as an apprentice Glass Engraver. In 1956 Tiffin Glass bought the molds and equipment of the Duncan-Miller Company and Clyde and his father came to Tiffin to work for Tiffin Glass. In 1970 Clyde was made foreman of the hand cutting department until 1976 when a cutback forced a layoff. Clyde then started King's Glass Engraving, Inc. in Tiffin where David worked with his father.

Clyde enjoyed camping and fishing with his wife Mary and being an avid outdoorsman all his life. He engraved many outdoor scenes on glass of birds and animals which was collected by customers throughout the country. He also was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan who enjoyed bowling and golfing with the "old" guys at Seneca Hills Retiree League.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, two brother and two sisters.
