Mr. John W. Baker, 79, of Perryville, died Sunday, November 6, 1994 at McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. He was born November 22, 1914 in Mercer County, the son of John William Baker and Ella Warner Baker. Survivors include: his wife, Alma Baker, Perryville; two daughters, Arlene Wood, Bryan, Tex. and Bonita Gullett, Winchester; three sons, Karan Allen Baker, Indianapolis, Ind., John William Baker, Ringgold, Ga., and Warren Kent Baker, Newport News, Va. Funeral services for Mr. Baker were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, at the Perryville Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Peterson and Rev. Chuck Bass officiating. Burial was at Hillcrest cemetery in Perryville. Wilder Funeral Home, Perryville, was in charge of arrangements.
