Louise T. Hill, was born April 10, 1947 to the late Nathaniel and the late Francis Tucker in Harris County, Georgia.
Her earthly journey was completed Thursday, September 17, 2020 as the Lord called her home for eternal rest at the St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. Graveside services will be held 11:00AM, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Smith Chapel UMC Church, 6225 Hopewell Church Road, Pine Mountain, Georgia 31822 according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 1605 3rd Avenue, Columbus, Georgia, 706-327-9293. Visitation will be from 4:00PM-6:00PM, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the funeral home.
At an early age, Louise was united in holy matrimony to the late Arthur Lee Johnson and through this union they were blessed with five children. Sister Louise retired as a cook from L&S Services in Fort Benning, GA. Her favorite hobbies were fishing and cooking. She loved singing gospel, and was well known throughout this community for her ministry of gospel singing with family as well as others. She loved her family and was the pillar of the family. Sister Louise was preceded in death by her loving parents; her husband Eddie Hill; three daughters Teresa, Evonne, and Shandrica Hill; one sister; two brothers; and a step brother. She leaves to cherish her lifetime of memories her children, Luritha (Wendell) Moore of Phenix City, AL and Nathaniel Hill of Columbus, GA; step-child Maranda Chatman of Columbus, GA.; a devoted companion Kevin Chatman of Columbus, GA; two special nephews Reginald and Jaden Brown of Columbus, GA; her loving siblings: Annie Cheatham and Willie Mae (Eldred) Pryor of Buffalo, NY; Anna (Larry) Torbert of Opelika, AL; Geneva (Willie) Hudson and Jamie Tucker of Pine Mountain, GA; Ophelia (Michael) Perry, Jody (Carlos) Carter, and Darrell (Tonia) Tucker of Phenix City, AL; Elizabeth Champion of Dallas, TX; Vickie (Travis) Askew, Michael (Misty) Parks, Latasha Parks, Veronica Parks, Jeffery Parks, Gabrielle Parks, Emmanuel Parks, Quailton Parks, Nathaniel Tucker III of Newnan, GA; Joseph Camoeron of VA; Heath Pugh of Union Springs, AL; Caroline Pugh and Clint Pugh of Columbus, GA; twenty grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
