ILENE PATZIG

Funeral services for Ilene Herring Patzig, 86, were Saturday in Wallace Funeral Chapel with Chris Alston, youth minister at First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home.

Mrs. Patzig died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 1994, at her residence after a sudden illness.

She was born Ilene Herring on March 20, 1908 in Olney. She moved to Swisher County and was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church.

She married W. A. "Bill" Patzig on April 24, 1928 in Plainview. He died on Aug. 2, 1988.

Survivors include one daughter, Chloe Morgan of Stratford; two sons, Richard Patzig of Ralls and Dennis Patzig of Harrisonburg, Va; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Nicky Morgan, Dan Morgan, Todd Patzig, Carrie Patzig,Anrew Patzig and Chad Morgan.

The family suggests memorials to the Tulia Cemetery Association or to Great Plains Eye Bank.
