Ruby V. Scott, 86, of Sperry, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Azria Health Prairie Ridge in Mediapolis, IA.
Born November 12, 1933 in Burlington, IA, she was the daughter of Cecil and Esther (Schmidt) Sutcliffe. She married Leo Scott on February 12, 1953 at St. Mary’s in Dodgeville, IA.
She was a member of Harmony Bible Church.
Ruby spent her years as a homemaker. She also worked for F&M Bank and Trust, Zales Jewelry, and she worked 18 years for chiropractor Dr. Miller. She loved sewing and making crafts, but most of all she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Troy; one grandson, Dallas; one granddaughter, Carrie; a brother, Lloyd Scott; and a sister Mary Esther Sutcliffe.
