Grace (Rossman) Lawrence

WADSWORTH - Grace (Rossman) Lawrence died peacefully Saturday, September 8, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family.

Grace was a lifetime resident of Wadsworth where she married her husband, John Lawrence of 60 years. Together they raised four girls: Jane (Tim) Steffensen of Wadsworth, Audrey (Paul) Ansell of Charleston, South Carolina, and Greta (Kevin) West of Ashburn, Virginia. She is preceded in death by their daughter, Amy Butti. They have eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Grace lived her life for her family and friends. She loved baking, sewing and tending to her roses. She was excited to embrace technology and regularly texted her Bitmoji for every emotion. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and never missed a game. She knew, and sometimes complained about all the players. Grace stayed youthful by staying active. She loved to dance and sing. In their spare time, John and Grace delivered Meals on Wheels and made funeral dinners. She devoted years serving as a volunteer at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital. She had a beautiful smile and embraced life by embracing people.

Please join us in a Memorial Mass and inurnment ceremony which will be held Saturday, September 22 at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wadsworth, Ohio.
