ARIZONA CITY - Gloria Baker, 69, died on Oct. 8, 2019.

Mrs. Baker was born on April 8, 1950, to Maria Socorro and Jesus Montijo Jr. in Florence. She was a longtime resident of Eloy, a secretary for Eloy schools and involved in the athletic department.

She was a member and eucharistic minister at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; a son and daughter, Jimmy R. Baker Jr. and Krissy M. Baker of Arizona City; 10 siblings, Danny Montijo of Casa Grande, Virginia Montijo of Casa Grande, Marylou Granillo of Tucson, Jessie Montijo of Casa Grande, Angie Federico of Eloy, Gabby Montijo of Eloy, Sylvia Montijo of Eloy, Irene Baeza of Casa Grande, Patty Montijo of Mesa and Eydie Ibarra of Picacho; and six grandchildren.

Memorial Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Inurnment at 11 a.m. in Eloy Memorial Park.
