Clarence David Clark, 85, Algoma, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019. He was born on July 17, 1933 to the late John and Theresa (Resler) Clark. In July 18, 1987 he married Carol Schneider at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Algoma. Clarence enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, playing dartball, spending time at the cottage, going to garage sales and auctions, and gardening, orchards and flowers.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, David (Linda) Clark, Daniel Clark, Dane (Donna) Clark, Cindy (George) Oram, Lloyd Clark, Gary (Lynn) Clark, Lori (Ron) Vandertie, and Kristi (Jay) Charles; the mother of his children, Joyce; step children, Kim Wery, Kyle (Edie) Schneider, and Kris (Tina) Schneider; step-daughter-in-law, Cheryl Schneider; 29 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 15 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; his brother, Harvey Clark, and brother-in-law Gerald Parins and sister-in-law Geraldine Reinhardt.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debra; step-son, Kevin Schneider; 3 grandchildren; 4 brothers, and 1 half-brother; and 1 half-sister.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 9-11 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am with Pastor John Moll and Pastor Joel McKenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home – Algoma is assisting the family.
