Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years. Susan was raised and educated in Elyria,
Ohio and graduated with the Elyria High School Class of 1966. She then went on to
further her education and attended classes at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in
Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Susan was married in Elyria, Ohio on April 21, 1979 to
Gordon Lee Foster. She spent most of her working life as a receptionist with
AerMet in Tulsa, Oklahoma for over 20 years. Susan was a faithful
member of Tulsa Wesleyan Church for just over 36 years and was active in the
music ministry playing the piano and organ. Susan also taught Sunday School, led
children’s ministry, and was a member of the Local Board of Administration for
several years. She enjoyed a variety of things such as volunteering to read at
local elementary schools, working on the local election board, and reading her
Bible, but most of all she loved spending some with her family, with holiday
being her favorite to make Candy Cane cookies with the nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Ellen Fisher, her parents, Edward
Elsworth and Sarepta Fisher, and her brother, James Frederick Fisher.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the
Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Mark Mueller officiating.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at
Bixby Cemetery in Bixby, Oklahoma.
