J.E,J. Davis, 79, died Thursday at the family residence near Thompson. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Thompsonville cemetery. His wife died March 15.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Davis of Thompsonville, and Mason Davis of Waelder; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Day of Fort Worth and Mrs. Tom Bates of Edinburg; a sister, Mrs. Betty Fay of Edna; two half brothers, W.W. Warren of Flatonia and Ed Warren of Seattle.
