Requiem Mass for Abel Beltran Pacheco, 25, murder victim was held January 15 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Rev. Barry Vinyear officiating. Interment Was in the Mt. View Cemetery.
Mr. Pacheco, a native of Mexicali, and resident of Calexico since 1973, was fatally injured in Calexico on Jan. 9. He was employed as a laborer for the Sun Harvest Co. at the time of his death. He had attended school in Calexico.
He is survived by his wife, Maria, 130 John Kennedy; three children, Maribel, Abel and Perla, all of Calexico; mother, Mrs. Rosario Pacheco of Calexico; step father, Guadalupe Serna of Calexico, and a sister, Esther Pacheco, of Calexico.
