Shirley Jean Williams Black, 85, wife of the late William “Bill” Randolph Black, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Frank Benjamin and Audrey Elizabeth Bray Williams. She was formerly employed at Wren High School as a cashier in the cafeteria and a housewife. She was also a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons, Randy Black (Kandy) of Piedmont and Steve Black of Piedmont; sisters, Diane Williams George of Piedmont and Sue Williams Burrell of Greer; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by sisters, Frances Allen, Margaret Pack and Bitsy Galloway; and grandson Tyler Stevenson.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 3, at Mountain Springs Baptist Church. The service will follow at 2:00 pm in the church. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
