Funeral services and a celebration of life for Joyce Stout, of Canton, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at Eubank Funeral Home, 27532 Texas Highway 64, Canton. Burial will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery,Canton. Joyce passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at Park Manor, McKinney. Joyce was born Sept. 5, 1926, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Albert Buel Miller and Mabel Honora Robichaux. She was married to Jessie Rupell Stout, of Canton, Sept. 25, 1948, in Austin. He preceded her in death Jan. 9, 2011. Joyce had been living in Anna with her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ron Rasmussen, prior to that she lived many years with her husband, Jessie, in Canton, where he was born and raised. After moving to Anna, Joyce attended Ridgeview Fellowship in Blue Ridge. She previously attended Old Bethel Church in Canton for many years. Joyce was very active in the community and along with her husband, Jessie, very involved in the Sheriff's Department in Canton and volunteering where ever possible. Prior to retiring in Canton, Joyce worked in Seattle as an office manager for many years and traveled the world with her family as a proud Air Force wife for 23 years. She is survived by her children and spouses, Linda Rasmussen and her husband Ron, Lana Tudor and husband Dean, Katherine Hewlett, and Shirley Martin-Johnson and her husband Donald; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, Jessie, she was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Joseph Miller; sister, Faye Lovell; and loving mother, Mabel Lowe.
