Daniel Joseph Lee, 72, of Pekin, passed away and transitioned from this world at 5:10 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2020 at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Center in Pekin.

He was born March 7, 1948 in Pekin to Howard and Mary (Crull) Lee. His parents preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by one daughter, Shannon Rodregous; one brother, Michael Lee and one sister, Lynn Andrews.

Surviving are four sons, Christopher (Sidney) Lee of Peoria, Daniel Lee of Pekin, Nicholas Lee of South Pekin and Shawn Bushong of Pekin; one daughter, Denise Dellit of East Peoria; a host of grandchildren; two brothers, John (Cathy) Lee of Manito and David (Arleen) Lee of Florida and one sister, C. June (Scott) Underwood.

A United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the 2nd Battalion with the 506th Infantry. Dan retired from Iron Workers Local 112.

He loved motorcycles and fishing with equal enthusiasm.
