Services for John A. Lethert, 83, 804 Aurora avenue, St. Paul, who died Saturday, will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at St, Agnes Catholic church St. Paul, with burial in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Lethert founded and operated the Western Badge and Novelty Co, in 1904. He was a member of Catholic Order of Foresters, Knights of Columbus, St. Peter of Clements society, Bookbinders union, United Commercial Travelers, St. Paul Chamber of Commerce, St. Paulites and North American Skat League. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. William Benz , Chicago; four sons, Herbert J., Carl W., Wilfred H. and Richard A. all of St. Paul; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Jacobson , Middleton, Wis., and Mrs. Joseph Meier , St. Paul, and five brothers, Charles A., Joseph A., Henry M., Frank A. and Anthony J., all of St. Paul. - Minneapolis Morning Tribune, 10 Sep 1957, pg 22
