James Franklin Nance, also known as, “Big Daddy, Big Sexy, and Big Jim,” 75, of Crown City, OH, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Heartland Hospice House, Crown City, OH to the late Walter and Mae Nance. He was born on November 7, 1944 in Athalia, OH. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Jerreal Dean Nance; sons Shawn (Mindy) Nance, Jeff (Wendy) Nance, and Jeremy (Michelle) Nance; daughters Tara (James) Wolford, Lisa Nance, and Lori Nance; grandsons Dustin (Maddie) Nance, Thomas (Molly) Nance, Garrett (Jala) Nance, Jarrod Nance; granddaughters Cassie Nance, Taylor (Seth) Carpenter, Samantha (Jordan) Deel, Jayla (Josh Henry) Wolford, Robyn Nance, Mollee Maynard, and Mikayla Toppins; two great-grandchildren, his pride and joy, Knox Alexander Carpenter and Clara Ann Nance. He was a retired truck driver for Heiners Bakery. Graveside Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Crown City Cemetery with Pastor Randy Thompson officiating.
