Dale was the first of five children, attended Denver Public Schools, and served in the Army from 1966 to 1968. After working for Frontier Airlines, he found his dream job as a heavy equipment salesman. His work took him to the western slope and Wyoming. Being on the road, most of them less-traveled, was ideal. After retirement, he worked as a ranger at Riverdale in Adams County. He was avid fisherman in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, with many tales of trips with his serious fishing buddies. He was introduced to golf by his friend Cliff Huffman in the early 1970s and remained hooked on the sport. He played regularly in Adams County and was a member of the men's club at Riverdale. Survivors beside Debbie were brothers Gary and Glen(Phyllis). Preceding were brother Greg and sister Jill.
