Champaign County Herold, Wednesday October 10, 1882 p5--Howard Robinson died at the residence of Dr. French in Armstrong, on the evening of the 7th.
Howard Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, of this place, was 22 years of age, a worthy young man, of steady and good habits, well respected and will be greatly missed in this vicinity. But while yet in the bloom of life, and at an early dawn of manhood's morn he fell victim to a fatal stroke from Goldsmith's "Champion Reverend", and passed into the mystified beyond. The remains were brought to his old home here on the 8th, at noon, where a service of song and prayer was held, after which the sacred relics were conveyed in a respectable procession to Old Homer, and quietly laid away in an earther coffer.
Son of H. and Mary A. Robinson.
