Malcolm Fred Smith, age 89 of St. Helen, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.
Malcolm was born on October 28, 1930 to Henry and Minnie (Sprague) Smith in Howell, MI.
He married Evelyn on April 26, 1957 in Dearborn, MI. Malcolm has lived in St. Helen since 1995.
Malcolm is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Evelyn Smith of St. Helen, daughters, J. Smith of Milan, MI, Karen (Richard) of Washington, MI, grandchildren. Also surviving is brother, C. Smith of SC and sister-in-law, L. Smith of Fort Myers, FL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James and Robert Smith, and sister-in-law, Mary Smith.
Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Interment of ashes will be held on a later date at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen, MI.
Arrangements were handled by Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home.
