Ann Marie Sheffert Caudle, 56, passed away on October 17, 2020, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born on July 8, 1964, in Norman, OK to parents Mary Peterson Sheffert and Paul Charles Sheffert, Ann grew up in Oklahoma City, graduating from Midwest City High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in geology and her master's degree in environmental engineering from Oklahoma State University. While at OSU, Ann met Phil Caudle, and they were married on October 16, 1999.
She spent her career working as an Environmental Engineer at Tinker Air Force Base.
Ann loved dogs and enjoyed dog agility. She was active in the Red Dirt Agility club in Oklahoma City.
Survivors included her husband Phil Caudle; her dog, Rocket; her brother, Shannon Sheffert (& his wife Cathy); niece, Emilee Onstott (& her husband Mason), and their children, Macy and Kynlee; nephew, Zach Sheffert (& his wife Lindsey); mother-in-law, Wilma Caudle; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Caudle (& her husband Bret Goodwin); aunts, Hilda Peterson Wolf and Cynthia Sheffert Hart; uncle, Clement Sheffert (h his wife Patricia); and several cousins."
