She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and loved her nursing career with Dr. Wirth.
She enjoyed sailing, motorcycle riding, and going to hockey games with her husband. Mary Ann loved animals, especially german shepherds.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Hensel "David" Gilmer, Jr.; children, Gail Beckmann of Olney, MD, and Cheryl Gilmer (Art) of Dunkirk, MD; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kurt Gilmer; and brothers, Robert M. Worthy and Donald Worthy.
