Gary G. "Pap" Williamson, 85, of Nazareth, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, in his home.
He was the husband of the late Patricia (Kern) Williamson, who passed away on July 16, 2010. Gary was born on April 21, 1935, in Belfast, PA. He was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Siegfried) Williamson. Gary graduated from Nazareth Area High School, Class of 1952. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Korean War. After his retirement from truck driving, Gary enjoyed driving tour busses for Jim Palmeri, of Martins Creek.
He is deeply missed by daughter, Terri Williamson and her companion, Ed Marakovits, of Nazareth; sons, Scott Williamson, of Florida, Brett Williamson and his wife, Kerry, of Pen Argyl; grandchildren, Chad Gotto and wife, Jennifer, Clinton Williamson, Elizabeth Anderson and her husband, Toomey; great-grandchildren, River and Noelle Gotto, Alizay Speight, and Graceann Anderson; sister, Clara Budick; brother, Dean Williamson and his husband, David, and also by many nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by brothers, Ronald and Dennis Williamson.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc., 220 Washington Park, Nazareth, PA 18064. A Prayer Service will follow at 11 a.m., at the funeral home presided by Rev. Curtis Kemmerer. Burial will be held at Belfast Union Cemetery.
