Born January 12, 1949 in Phillipsburg she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ellanora (Kinney) Emrick.
She was a clerk with Huntington Oil before retirement. Prior to that she worked in the Phillipsburg School District. She and her husband, Charles, were married October 8, 1966.
Linda was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she also had been a Sunday School teacher and ran the Summer Bible School.
She was very involved in Scouting, and was a Cub Scout leader with Pack 58 (Green Street School) and a Den Leader with Pack 15 in Alpha. She enjoyed arts and crafts, ceramics and stained glass. Linda was an avid reader who also loved word searches and music.
In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by two sons Charles, Jr. "Chip" (wife, Kelly) of Phillipsburg and Shane (wife, Laurel) of Noblesville, IN; two brothers Michael (wife, Patricia) of Pohatcong Township and Gary (wife, Jan) in Florida; sister-in-law Kathy Emrick of Bethlehem, PA; and her five beloved grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 11 a.m. in Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 695 Corliss Ave, Phillipsburg, NJ. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to time of services in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Harmony Township.
