"Robert "Bobby" Eugene Atkins, age 40, of J.D. Farm Road, Tellico Plains, passed away Friday, October 24, 2003 at Sweetwater Hospital. He was employed by White's Marble Works. Survivors include: parents, Joe and Betty Atkins of Alcoa; a daughter; five sisters; two brothers; several nieces and nephews; and some special friends. Family received friends Sunday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains. The graveside service and interment followed at New Providence Cemetery with Rev. Shane Bryson officiating."
