Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS with Reverend Russ Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Graceland Cemetery, Weston, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 29th at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS .
Glenda was born on November 10, 1935 in Winchester, KS the daughter of Fred and Musie (Jones) Ragland. She grew up in Winchester, KS attending Winchester High School. Glenda worked as an operating room technician for Jefferson County Memorial Hospital for over 30 dedicated years. After leaving the hospital, she also worked for several other surgeons in Leavenworth, KS before retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Winchester Christian Church, the Early Bird Bowling League, and Atchison Bowling Association, bowling for over 60 years including 25 State Bowling Tournaments and 20 National Bowling Tournaments. She especially enjoyed traveling; camping, but her true joy and passion were her grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include three children; a brother , six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, a brother Loren Ragland, and sisters Ellen (Jim) Perine and Betty (Alvin) Reynolds preceded her in death.
