MERLENE STARR MARTZ, 75, of Memphis, retired from First Tennessee Bank, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 from injuries in an auto accident in Henning, TN. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 27 at Christ United Methodist Church, 4488 Poplar Avenue, with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. She leaves two daughters, Judy Lovelace and Tammy (Jeff) Conway; two sons, Dennis (Debby) Starr and Todd (Brenda) Starr; one stepson, Donald (Carla) Martz; one sister, Christine Howell; and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Tennessee School for the Blind. Services entrusted to: Bartlett Funeral Home (Published in The Commercial Appeal on 9/26/2007.)
