She is survived by her children, Harold Gregory (Joe Sullivan) of Longview, TX; David Gregory (Lori) of New Albany; Nancy Harding (Bill) of Terre Haute; and Sylvia Richter (Neil) of Fishers; a sister, Lorena May (Jack Norman) of Tuscola, IL; six grandchildren, Karen Abel (Chris), Tedra Richter, Gregory Harding, Brissta Gregory, Jenna Bates (Craig), and John David Gregory (Aleisha); and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Edward Gregory; sisters, Valley Hickes, Agnes Grindle, Florence Josyln, and Lois Blackwell; and brothers, Vincent Hoke, Elwood Hoke, and J.T. Hoke.
Jennie worked for many years as a cook at Rio Grande Elementary School. She was a member of the Burnett Home Ec Club and North Terre Haute Christian Church. Jennie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Jennie will be laid to rest next to her husband in Roselawn Memorial Park. Mattox-Wood Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
