Clarinda was the daughter of William & Rachel P. (Holmes) Dinsmore. She was the 7th child of 14. She married Oscar 4 Sept 1887 and they had 7 children.

From the Republican for June 19, 1952:

Clarinda J. Weddle, widow of Oscar Weddle, died at her home in Pittsboro
last Thursday after an illness of four months. Her age was 82 years and 11
months. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors are four daughters, Amy Geddes, Pittsboro; Elizabeth Weddle and
Rachel Bowman, Indianapolis, and Vada Cook, Huntington Park, Calif.

Services were from the Gregory Funeral Home in Pittsboro, Sunday afternoon
at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Sherman Essex. Burial was in the Lizton
cemetery.
