Charles Thomas Reeves III, 74, of Sandston, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Norma P. Paul; father, Charles T. Reeves II; brother, John C. Reeves; and grandmother, Mattie “Gonga” Mangum.
Charles was a painter with over 50 years of experience in both residential and commercial settings. He enjoyed working in his garden and flower beds and had a passion for country music, especially Willie Nelson. Charles also loved his pickup truck, but nothing compared to hanging out with his grandbabies.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 41 years, Nancy L. Reeves; children, Cindy Crowder (Jason), Caren Barber (DJ), Bobbie Reeves (Brandon Guthrie); grandbabies, Charlett, Grace, Camryn, Brian, Maddy, Ella; sister, Norma Pegram; nephew, JC Reeves; and many cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Cardiovascular Research, VCU School of Medicine, P.O. Box 843042, Richmond, VA 23284-3042 or to a local charity of your choice.
