Rev. Wendy S. Bailey, 56, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Born in Holbrook, NY, Rev. A graduate of the State University of NY in Fredonia, she earned her Master’s Degree in Theology from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Rev. Bailey was currently serving as the Executive Presbyter for Monmouth Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Wendy loved music and was a talented musician. She played the piano, guitar and sang beautifully. She also loved people and was extremely hospitable, and opened her home to all in need. Her boisterous laugh was contagious, and those who knew her could pick her out of a crowd by that alone.

Daughter of the late Virginia Berg, Wendy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dwayne Bailey; her daughter and son-law, Kate and Ben Farmer; her father, Peter Berg; her brothers, Michael and Matthew as well as many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Friday, December 23rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. A memorial service will be held 11am on Monday, December 26th at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, High St., Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wendy’s name to Monmouth Presbytery, 617 Hope Chapel Rd, Lakewood, NJ 08701or a local organization in your area that supports the arts in education, a passion of Wendy’s.
