Death Claims Mrs. Catherine Zimmerman

Mrs. Catherine Smith Zimmerman died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Pifer, in McCalmont Township Sunday morning about 8 o'clock after a lingering illness.

She was a daughter of George and Mary Smith, both deceased, and was born in Young Township, Jefferson County, on 21 August 1867.

Her husband, Daniel Zimmerman, preceded her in death.

The deceased was a loving mother and friend;
her death is sincerely mourned.
She leaves the following sons and daughters:
Mrs. Emma Mauk, Mrs. Arthur Forenger,
Clair and Clark Zimmerman, all of Ambridge;
Mrs. Stewart Rowe, of Youngstown, 0hio;
Mrs. Lulu White, of Oakmont;
Dess Zimmerman, of Brookville;
Mrs. Ira North, of near Reynoldsville,
and Mrs. Clarence Pifer, in whose home she died.
Four sisters, seven brothers and 22 grandchildren also survive.
Friends will be received in the home of her daughter this afternoon. Funeral services will be held in the home, Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Louis Westphal officiating. Burial will be in the Pifer Cemetery nearby.
