Barbara Louise Kemp, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at a local assisted living facility.

She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, playing scrabble, and was an amazing nurse. She was a loving mother who was married to the love of her life, Albert Kemp, for 22 years. She was a member of Benton Seventh Day Adventist Church.

In addition to her husband, Albert (who passed away October 1, 2020) she was also preceded in death by her loving parents, Ralph and Margaret Copeman; brothers, Jim Copeman, and Ralph Jr. Copeman; sister, Irene Graves; brothers-in-law, Roy Kemp, Frank Kemp, Delwin Kemp, and David Kemp; sisters-in-law, Sandra Kemp, Gertrude Simmons, and Denise Kemp; and grandchildren, Barry and Kevin.

She is survived by her daughters, Sonja Seeley and husband, Jon of Fredrick, MD, and Cindy Binder of Mandan, ND; step-daughter, Ginger Bussey and husband, Bill of Austin, TX; step-sons, Melvin Kemp and wife, Beverly of Amory, Miss., Carl Kemp of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren Justin Mill, Trevor Mills, Ashlyn Seeley, Trace Seeley, Daniel Lugo; sister, Doreen Widney and husband, Jay of Smith Mountain Lake,VA; brothers; Fred Copeman and wife, Shirley of Silver Spring, MD, Douglas Copeman of Ekins, West VA; step-sisters, Beverly Kemp, and Ethel Simmons; step-brother, Donald Kemp; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday October 23, 2020 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
