She was born to Norman Lee and Gladys Matthews Hamby. She was a member of the Broyles Chapel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, Larry Parker; daughters, Vickie L. Hardy and Crystal G. Lawson; sons Marshall L. Lawson and David W. Lawson; sisters, Patsy Fox, Doris Branson, Ruby Crawford, Wanda Goff, Billie Kaminsky and Lavenia Starr; brothers Bobby Hamby, Tom Hamby, Travis Hamby, Norman Hamby and James Hamby.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Kenneth R. Lawson and Jerry M. Lawson.
