--Agnes Nancy Stewart was born in 1764 in Pennsylvania, the child of her parents, Isabella Houstin and Robert Stewart. She had one son, John Stewart Howey, and one daughter, Ann Howey, with her husband, George Howey between 1783 and 1786. She died as a young mother on September 17, 1786, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, at the age of 22, and was buried in Charlotte, North Carolina.
