She is preceded in death by her Parents; a Sister, Barbara Stewart and Brother, James Thomas.
Anita graduated from Male High School in 1973. Her first job was Green-Wells Grocery Store. She worked at Kellogg's for 22 years where she later retired.
Anita was an avid fan of the U of L Cardinal Basketball Team, She loved playing the lottery and going to Churchill Downs. More than anything she loved her family, she would do anything for her ad butts Nyia and Korey. Loving caring Mother and a very hard worker.
Anita is survived by her loving Husband of 27 years, Billy Malone; Daughter, Deidra Watts (Delmonte); Step Daughters, Tasha Brim and Antionette Taylor; Step Sons, Devontez Grinter and Derrell Arthur; Grandchildren, Ra'Nyia Marshall, and Korey Vinson, Jr.; Sisters, Sharon Thomas-Bruce, Karen Ruff, and Shirley Thomas; Brother Terrance (Kathy) Thomas, Anita also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 on Friday, October 23, 2020. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Greater Friendship Baptist Church (2325 Osage Ave) with burial to follow in Green Meadows Cemetery.
