Our precious Cameron, “Cam Cam,” “the Camster,” was born November 1, 2013 in Loma Linda, California to Joshua and Lindsey Clark. Cam tragically left this earth too soon and returned to live with his loving Heavenly Father, alongside his older brother Jackson, as a result of an impaired driver hitting their family’s vehicle as they were traveling to Utah for Fall Break.
Cameron was a boys’ boy. He was a superstar athlete and had a love for soccer that was evident to all who watched him play. Cam was aggressive and determined on the field and wouldn’t be denied. He was often asked to play on teams above his age group when an extra player was needed. Cameron was physical and would wrestle anyone that would put up with it, especially his dad and siblings. He loved to spend time at the dirt bike track. Recently, he was mastering tricks and front/back flips on the trampoline. He enjoyed all little boy things; riding bikes, swimming, catching lizards, building legos and exploring the outdoors. Cam had no fear. He had aspirations of learning to play the guitar and his 2020 Christmas list consisted of an electric guitar. Cam had an appreciation for music, dancing and loved jammin’ to Rock & Roll.
Cam had a “one-in-a-million” personality that was contagious. With his crooked little grin and cute raspy voice he could melt anyone’s heart. He could often be seen with his hand in his pocket and a demeanor about him that was just plain “cool.” People were drawn to his charming, charismatic disposition and it often worked in his favor. Cam was quite hilarious! He loved to make people laugh and it didn’t take much. These attributes, mixed with a dash of mischief, made Cam the perfect combination of boy that he was. In addition to all of this, he had a tender heart when necessary and loved those in his circle fiercely.
Cam had a bright spirit and he will continue to shine his light with those on the other side of the veil. His family finds peace in knowing that he was called home to be an instrument in the hands of our Heavenly Father. Families are eternal and we look forward to seeing him again. Cameron is survived by his father, Joshua Clark; mother, Lindsey VanWoerkom Clark; siblings Katelynn (9), Austin (5), and Nathan (1); grandparents, aunts, uncles, many cousins and close friends.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, a private service will be held in his honor on October 17. In accordance with the Pima County directive, facial masks will be required at all funeral services and social distancing will be observed. They were traveling from their home in Arizona to Utah to visit family and friends for Fall Break when an impaired driver in the oncoming lane hit their vehicle. As a result of the accident, Jackson (11) and Cameron (6) have passed away. The 5 surviving family members, Josh, Lindsey, Katelynn (9), Austin (4) and Nathan (1) are in stable physical condition and have been discharged from the hospital with minor injuries.
All donations made will go directly to Josh and Lindsey to help with memorial and funeral expenses and support for the Clark family.
